Crockett told me (Yan Huang) of a web application for Project management and
collaboration known as FogBugz and
I tried a demo version but the way they priced it and the way the user interface is
was not too appleasing in my opinion. We did some quick research and found an
online project management application that stood high above the rest in search engines
and directories, and it was Basecamp.
They have a variety of plans, but the one we got was the Basecamp Basic Business
plan which offers up to 15 active projects, 500 megabytes of storage, Unlimited basecamp users,
and Real Time chat. We signed up with Basecamp and moved all the stuff
from paper and folders onto Basecamp’s collaboration environment. There
is virtually no doubt in my mind that Basecamp isn’t the perfect project collaboration
and management online application. I (Yan Huang) snapped a few screenshots
of the client areas of Basecamp, of course, you could also sign up for the Free
Personal version if you want to try it firsthand.
