It has been some time that I have wanted to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific and its been planned out that a huge group of friends go with us. Through a strange twist of events, the only people that went were Yan Huang (self), Justin S, and Thomas T. Justin took the 710 South and we decided to go to check out the Queen Mary first, since none of us have been inside before. The place itself sucked but it was fun going through it and getting a nice glimps of the harbor and ocean. What was great about the place was if you have proof of a Californian residence, you get in for free! Parking was $10 though. Justin convinced us to take the bus to the Aquarium so we save some parking money and it seemed like an excellent idea until this lady who must have been three bucks came onto the bus and she was coughing so much it horrified me. We ran off the bus and went back to Justin’s car, and headed for the aquarium. Tickets were $20 and we also purchased a mini movie ticket for $3. We saw all sorts of marvelous critters of the sea, including seals, sharks, rays, and a whole assortment of fish. The mini movie we saw, Monsters of the Abyss, had great 3D effects but the storyline could have been improved. Overall, very fun!
