Thomas Tang and I went to the Los Angeles Zoo, located off the Interstate-5 North from the 10.  It was a great opportunity for some good exercise and getting some sunlight.  We took the path along the map and saw some pretty amazing animals…among those that stood out were the alligators, the komodo dragon, the camel, the giraffes, the hippo, and the rhino (for the 30 seconds that we saw it before it went into his little house).  The lions and the tigers were really overrated–they were pretty small creatures and all they did for the time we were there was sleep.  It was fun but it was sad seeing animals that were by itself all caged up.
