This blog uses Dasblog, an ASP.NET C# blogging software, but I have two other blogs and those uses Wordpress. One of the things that really started to irritate me was the fact that I was getting literally hundreds of
automated spam comments. The bulk spam or bulk delete helps but it is still
labor intensive process, especially since I was getting new spam by the hour.
Either I figure out a way to get rid of the spam or else I will need to wave the white
flag and disable comments. I am a very sore loser so definitely prefer the first
option. I decided to write a script that gets rid of the spam by removing entries
with certain keywords and removing entries with excessive links. I figured others
probably have this same issues too so I made it an easy install so others can benefit.
My Wordpress Anti Spam Comment script is 2-step install, you can download
it here:

Your spam comments will automatically be removed when you login to your Wordpress
Dashboard:

So there you have it folks, Wordpress Spam vs. Yan and it is Yan for the win!
Spam loses!
